Will there be day-of-race package pick up?

Yes, there is only race day pickup, please ensure you do this 40 minutes before your scheduled start time at the start/finish line.

Where does the race start?

The race starts and finishes in the parking lot of the Wascana Marina.

What aid stations and supplies will be available on the course?

All runners will pass by the aid stations at the start/finish with each 4KM loop they run. The stations will be stocked with water, sports drink, and foods to keep you going. If you park in the parking lot, you can easily access your own supplies without straying too far off the route too. Pizza will be served for runners and volunteers late afternoon, we'll be checking with runners as they pass through and gauge when to order.

What about bathrooms on the course for runners and volunteers?

The start/finish will have porta-potties available for all to use.

Are there finisher medals?

Yes. All finishers will get a custom "super cool" spinner medal and by registering by March 21, 2019 you will receive a customized pair of trail running gaiters. Every participant finishing a minimum of 4KM will receive a medal.

What is the race start time?

24 hour participants start @ 6:00 AM  -  12 hour participants start @ 7:00 AM  -  6 hour participants start @ 8:00 AM

Are there winners awards?

Yes, top male and female finishers in each timed event will receive an award and get to run one bonus lap. (Bonus lap optional!)

What about hotel accommodations?

Will I be allowed to wear ear plugs on the course?

While the ear plugs are not expressly forbidden, they are not advisable for safety reasons. Sections of the course are on shared paths  so runners must be alert to sounds and noises of approaching pathway traffic. (people, bikes, babies, and geese)

What will be the weather and the course conditions on the race morning?

Frankly, we do not know. (Surprise!) Saskatchewan weather can be full of surprises but given the course is a 4KM loop over/under dressing can easily be solved by adjusting your clothing with each lap as the day progresses. 

Can I run any distance I want regardless of the timed event I sign up for?

Absolutely, we encourage everyone to run exactly what they want to. Each finisher receives the same medal, some just run farther for it!

Is there parking at the race start?

There is ample parking at the start/finish line and additional parking close by along Wascana Drive.

Will there be gear drop off at the start?

There is an unsecured tent available for runners to store belongings. Some prefer to store things in their vehicles and the parking lot is at the start/finish so quite convenient.
