Sydney Running Festival Marathon, September 18, 2016

And now for some completely surprising news...

Some of you might have heard that our local world champion, Milos Kostic, was injured in a bike crash at the World Ironman 70.3 Championships in Mooloolaba, Australia on September 4. Despite his 15 rib fractures, broken scapula and 4 transverse process fractures, he finished the remaining 40 km of the bike before accepting a ride to the hospital. Apparently, recovery went quite well, because he ran the Sydney marathon on September 18, finishing 1st in the Mens 75+ age group with a time of 4:52:31.
